AEG – Telefunken was created as a merger between AEG (founded in 1883) and Telefunken (founded in 1903) on January 1, 1967. They were headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany…and at one time was the 12th largest electrical company in the world. The company was involved in everything from hairdryers, televisions, and communication equipment, to radars, semiconductors, and electroacoustics.
